Not always, it depends on what you need and the level of effort it is to fully onboard your environment.  We don’t charge for on-boarding however if cost prohibitive we may require at-least a 12 month contract or minimal project cost.

You can choose between two basic options.

  1. Minimum monthly hours with a-la-cart for add-on services. 
  2. Per user cost that is all inclusive of everything we offer including support.
  • A-la-cart services may be billed for each computer and/or users.  User count is usually determined by  Microsoft 365 and GSuite.
  • We bill different rate for machine level backup scenarios (Cloud or local) and additional hardware may be required. 
  • We charge different rate for remote support compared to on-site support.
  • Project work is billed time and material or not to exceed bucket of hours. Example would be to deploy a new server, or firewall.
  • No software, license or hidden cost for services we include.

Windows home is very limited,  business environments will require Windows 10 Professional to support centrally managed compliance.  Windows Home to Pro upgrade is about $99 MSRP.  For our customers we will perform the upgrade during the on-boarding service for free.

24/7 Monitoring and maintenance is key and ARATIS will always know the protection status of each machine and can remotely contain compromised machines to prevent further spread. History of events as well as review operation system logs.

Included, continuous assessments of machines (ratings), will be provided in monthly reports.

We recommend layering cloud-to-cloud and cloud-to-local backups.   It starts with deploying right sized local NAS device at your office to backup all your computer images and your MS365, GSuite or other Cloud service. The NAS can also be utilized as needed to provide other roles such as  utility applications or local file sever.

Having a reliable method for spreading information about service disruptions saves you unneeded confusion.
As a provider we will post clear messages on our Support Portal when service disruptions occur.

For high level security events our 24/7 SOC will make a direct callout and provide next step which may include isolation of machine or user.

Regarding general customer computer related events,   we can send a direct “Chat” message to your screen and issue several remote commands to limit further exposure for example in a security event.  For proactive measures we will simply open a support ticket and keep you informed with progress.

For larger networks spread across locations we can also utilize our Voice API to send out SMS and/or VOICE calls to anyone you need during critical outages. 

US Based – An overseas support department is typically a signal that the provider is trying to cut costs when it comes to customer support.   12+ years – Average tenure gives you a general idea of how experienced our support staff is.

We will supply the necessary software such as for security and management within our Cyber Health Service and required to use them. 

If you have other software duplicating our service it will need to be removed.

 If you require a Server or on-premise backups additional hardware may be required. Quotes based on your needs can be provided for your review for free.
